The Defence sector is constantly striving to deliver capability to the front line. We help achieve this by delivering effective solutions for the Ministry of Defence (MOD) and the supply chain by drawing on diverse and extensive competencies from within our team and G4S as a whole.

Our knowledge and experience ensures we deliver effective, value for money solutions that deliver continuous improvement and efficiencies that ultimately benefit the front line.

We have worked with the MOD for over ten years providing a range of services, including:

Defence Academy – Since 2004 we have worked closely with the Defence Academy; designing and delivering a range of programmes to their staff, either on a one-off basis, or as part of an ongoing programme of development. These assignments vary in size and cover a wide range of subjects to improve the effectiveness of military and civilian personnel. To date we have delivered over 8,250 days of training to the academy and our relationship continues to flourish.

Enhanced Learning Credits - The MOD's Enhanced Learning Credits Scheme (ELC) is an initiative to promote lifelong learning amongst members of the Armed Forces. Since 2003 we have managed the administrative aspects of the scheme under the sympathetic brand of Enhanced Learning Credits Administration Service (ELCAS). We have processed over 275,000 registrations and processed over 37,000 claims. The contract was renewed in March 2010 therefore we will continue to provide this service for an additional five years.To view our dedicated website for the ELC scheme click here.
