What is 'My Clippings'?

My Clippings is a tool that allows you to mark content of interest as you browse the site, and then when you are ready, generate a single PDF download combining all the content that you have selected.

Adding Content

Where you see add to my clippings icon, it means that the piece of content it is associated with is available for you to add to your clippings. Click it once and that content will be added to your clippings.

Downloading your PDF

When you are ready to takeaway your content, click . Your custom PDF will be generated and you will be able to save it from your browser.

 

WorldHost Customer Service Training

 

We now deliver the WorldHost Customer Service Training Programme for those in the hospitality, tourism, retail and other service-centred businesses. The programme is set to raise the standard and deliver of customer service training in the UK ahead of London Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2012, the Ryder Cup and Commonwealth Games, both in 2014, and the Rugby World Cup in 2015. The programme includes modules on serving customers with disabilities, service across cultures and the ambassador workshop, particulary designed for volunteers assisting visitors to our country.

The WorldHost programme is modern and energetic offering a comprehensive training toolkit and topical DVD and CD scenarios. It can be used across a wide variety of industries where the quality of front-line customer service is key to the success of the business.

The flexibility of the programme enables the trainer to adapt the course sessions to meet the needs of a wide variety of delegates from new entrants into the industry to experienced service staff working in a wide range of industries.

The Programmes

The Principles of Customer Service - One day course

This programme is designed to enhance customer service skills and behaviours by providing participants with the fundamentals of service professionalism and encouraging them to take pride in their work.

Customers with Disabilities - Half day course

The WorldHost Customers with disabilities programme aims to increase awareness and sensitivity towards customers with a disability. By having this knowledge, service providers can make people with disabilities feel more comfortable and welcome.

Service Across Cultures - Half day course

This programme is designed to increase awareness about visitors and customers from other cultures, and provide practical skills and advice to improve communications. This programme may also provide participants with some food for thought regarding how they communicate with colleagues from other cultures as we live and work in multicultural community.

Ambassador Workshop - Half day course

The WorldHost Ambassador Workshop supports ambassadors or volunteers in providing a warm and friendly welcome and equipping them with resources as they interact with and assist visitors to the UK. This workshop creates an opportunity to build on participants current strengths as a representative of where they work, volunteer and live.
